Wire Express is a fast-paced, growing company. We have immediate openings for CDL Class A Drivers and Owner Operators. Our CDL Driver positions call for a variety of skills and responsibilities including driving. Job will consist primarily of driving and operating a heavy diesel truck. Job assignments involve safe work, team work, professionalism, paperwork and client interface.
CDL Driver REQUIREMENTS:
· Must have valid Class A CDL
· Proof of all CDL Class A certifications and drivers licenses required.
· Excellent driving/safety record.
· Ability to work varied hours & long hours, including evenings and weekends, as well as travel out of town for extended periods of time.
· Pass a company provided physical capacity test.
· Must pass pre-employment DOT drug screening, hair and urine, DOT physical, and participate in a Drug & Alcohol program including random testing.
CDL Driver Skills:
· Minimum of 1 year driving experience preferred but not required.
· Demonstrated ability to perform duties in a safe and compliant manner.
· Experience demonstrating successful operation of equipment.
· Ability to complete detailed reports, manifests, work orders and time sheets and submit them on time.
· Conduct pre-trip/post-trip inspections and manage Driver Log books.
· Ensure all required equipment is available and operational prior to commencing work.
· Ability to interface with clients concerning job status and job completion.
· Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.
